Effective June 20, 2011, minor changes were made to two charts in this publication.
Maximum and minimum temperature chart
The appearance and information on the chart will not change but the time period used to determine
maximum and minimum temperatures will change to:
Maximum temperature - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Local Standard Time
Minimum temperature - 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Local Standard Time
These times are consistent with National Weather Service definitions of maximum and minimum temperatures.
Precipitation chart
The plotted data will remain the same and depict the 24 hour precipitation ending at
1200 UTC or 7 a.m. EST. The only change is that shading of areas where precipitation has fallen will be more detailed.
