National Forecast Issuance Information

On October 6, 2008, WPC began issuing the National Forecast chart twice per day. The first version is available on our web site by 5am EDT/2am PDT (0900 UTC); this forecast is then updated at 5pm EDT/2pm PDT (2100 UTC).

On our archive page, if you wish to view the first issuance, select "Morning". To view the updated forecast, select "Afternoon". Note that prior to October 6, 2008, the National Forecast was only issued at 5am EDT/2am PDT (0900 UTC), therefore only "Morning" issuance times will be available.
