The low pressure system is forecast to move slowly northeastward
across the Ohio Valley over the next few days. The low combined
with tropical moisture will continue to cause heavy rain across
the Ohio Valley today and will spread into portions of the Lower
Great Lakes region. Additional rainfall totals of over 5 inches
will be widespread throughout those regions, with locally higher
amounts. Flooding and flash flooding are likely, and a high risk
of excessive rainfall is in effect for Saturday and Saturday night
for parts of Illinois, Indiana, and far western Ohio.

The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 400 PM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
