The surface low will move to the north-northeast through Saturday
morning and exit into southern Canada by Saturday afternoon. Light
to moderate snowfall is forecast to continue across portions of
the Upper Midwest from Wisconsin east into Michigan. The cold
front will move quickly into the interior Northeast Saturday
evening and through New England on Sunday. The snow will first
begin to taper off across Wisconsin by early this afternoon, with
a couple additional inches of snow possible. The snow will linger
longer across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan into the evening
hours with 2-4 inches of additional snow possible. A wintry mix is
likely through this afternoon across the Lower Peninsula of
Michigan as the cold front passes through. Accumulations should
remain around an inch or less, but strong, gusty winds may result
in some areas of blowing snow. Some Lake effect snowshowers are
possible east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in New York beginning
Saturday evening and continuing through Sunday behind the cold
front.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 900 PM CST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
