At 1000 PM EST...A front moved into the Southeast and stalled over
the region over the past few days. This pattern resulted in
repeated rounds of heavy rain that produced flash flooding. The
front is currently draped across the Southeast from Louisiana to
the North Carolina/South Carolina border, and scattered moderate
to heavy rain showers are ongoing on the southern side of the
front.

The frontal boundary is forecast to slowly move south across the
region through Tuesday. Some uptick in heavy rainfall is possible
overnight into the early morning hours Tuesday before tapering
thereafter.
