Subtropical Storm/T. D. #32 -  September 30-October 3, 1969

An upper low closed off in the Gulf of Mexico, spurring the development of a tropical depression.   The depression
moved northward around the east side of the upper level low, spreading high winds through the northeast Gulf of
Mexico before moving into the Florida panhandle through the Southeast into the Ohio Valley.  The system dissipated
as it moved across the Great Lakes into southeast Canada, as it was absorbed by a new cyclone to its southeast.  The
graphics below show the storm total rainfall for the subtropical storm...data was provided by the National Climatic Data
Center in Asheville, NC.
