Tropical Depression #7 - September 3-10, 1999

A tropical disturbance began to develop as it moved out of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec into the
southwest Gulf of Mexico.  The system developed into a tropical depression which moved into
northeast Mexico without further development.  There was a slight impact rainfallwise on Texas,
as seen on the graphic below, but the rainfall impact was locally significant to the left of its track.
Rainfall information for the United States was acquired through the National Climatic Data Center
in Asheville, North Carolina.  Rainfall information for Mexico was obtained from the Comision
Nacional del Agua, the parent agency of Mexico's national weather service.
