Tropical Depression Eighteen - September 25-28, 1968

A tropical depression formed in the western Caribbean sea late on September 24.  The system moved north
to northeast at a slow rate of speed, steered by an approaching cold front and weakness in the subtropical
ridge to its north, crossing southern Florida on the 26th, before turning eastward out into the subtropical
western Atlantic.  Below are the storm total rainfall maps for the depression, using data provided by
the National Climatic Data Center through their daily rainfall totals.
