FLASH FLOOD WATCHES ARE IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF SOUTHWESTERN TEXAS.

FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF
SOUTHWEST TEXAS.

AT 1000 PM CDT...0300 UTC...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION ERIN
WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 32.1 NORTH...LONGITUDE 101.8
WEST...ABOUT 25 MILES...40 KILOMETERS...EAST-NORTHEAST OF MIDLAND
TEXAS.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING NORTH-NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH...9 KT...16
KM/H. THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT
12 TO 24 HOURS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 25 MPH...40 KM/HR...WITH A FEW
HIGHER GUSTS. THE ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS AROUND
1007 MB...29.74 INCHES.

HEAVY BANDS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO ROTATE AROUND

ADDITIONAL RAIN ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTH-CENTRAL TEXAS...WITH POSSIBLE
ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS UP TO 8 INCHES ASSOCIATED WITH THE CENTER
OF THE DEPRESSION. TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF THE SYSTEM...LOCALIZED
AREAS COULD SEE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH 2 TO 3 INCHES
POSSIBLE.
