Cold front will continue to push southeastward today with
scattered showers over the islands. Upper trough will move
eastward over the next two days and heights will build for the end
of the week into next week as the ridge axis sets up west of the
area. This will support drier conditions with breezy trades from
the northeast, veering to the east, as a 1022mb high meanders to
the northeast of Hawai'i. Isolated to maybe scattered
windward/mauka showers are expected with generally light
accumulations. By the end of the period, another trough may dip
near the region (00Z ECMWF/Canadian were on the deeper side of the
ensemble spread) but the ensemble consensus was farther east
around 140W).
