A preferred composite of reasonably well clustered guidance shows
light to moderate island trades today in a lingering pattern with
light windward and mountain showers. An upper weakness over the
state and tropical disturbance passage well to the south may allow
some deeper moisture skirt the islands Friday into Saturday as
trades increase. High pressure bridging to the north of the state
may maintain trades in a pattern with modest windward showers into
early next week before some possible flow disruption through
midweek.
