The heavy rainfall and flood threat will continue through
today/Thursday across Kauai as an upper trough lifts northward
away from the state with lingering showers into this weekend
across the western islands as increased moisture pools along a
weakening cold front. Mainly scattered showers and typical sea
breeze enhancements are expected across the rest of the main
islands. Through this weekend and next week, upper ridging should
build back in across the region with breezy easterly trades
resuming and a more typical and limited precipitation pattern
across the state.
