surface high pressure ridge strength and positioning just to the
north of the state should support only light to moderate trades
over the next week in a mainly tranquil weather pattern for the
islands. Showers should be limited statewide as moisture levels
should remain below normal, even as less certain vorticity centers
embedded within a mean upper ridge over the state provide some
focus.
