Guidance overall agrees that trade winds should be light through
the weekend as supporting surface pressure gradients weaken under
a weakness aloft. A favored composite could allow a few locally
enhanced showers. High pressure should again build back in to the
north and east of the islands by early next week, suggesting a
return of moderate to breezy trade winds. Expect a generally dry
pattern for Hawaii for much of next week with some typical
windward/mountain showers, but some enhanced tropical moisture may
move to the state later next week.
