...Tropical moisture from the remnants of Bonnie then Darby may
affect the islands today and this weekend...

Models and ensembles still reasonably agree that strong high
pressure bridging to the north of the state will continue to
support mainly brisk island trades over the next week. This
pattern favors windward/mountain showers, but expect activity to
become a bit more widespread with potential arrival of tropical
moisture from the remnants of Bonnie in the short term and then
from the remnants of Darby this weekend as per latest track from
the National Hurricane Center.
