Low pressure pulls away from Kauai as high pressure builds over
the rest of the islands from east to west beginning this weekend.
The latest guidance tends to agree on this particular evolution of
the upper pattern during the Medium Range.

Trade winds are expected to increase going into next week as high
pressure continues to build across the region. A plume of moisture
is likely to streak northward toward the Islands next Monday and
Tuesday, despite the heaviest axis of precipitation remaining
south of The Big Island through Tuesday. Spotty showers are
possible with any enhanced amounts impacting Maui and The Big
Island, particularly on Sunday and Monday.
