A compact upper low is forecast to pass through the Islands later
this weekend, moving well west of the region by early next week.
This will give way to more ridging aloft with a weakened trade
wind flow. By mid week through the rest of the week, high pressure
settles north of the region and this will reassert the typical
trade wind regime, favoring mainly windward precipitation chances.
