Upper ridging over the region will help to weaken the trade wind
regime over the next several days, leading to more typical diurnal
sea/land breezes. Showers will favor the windward areas. By later
in the week, mid level troughing and high pressure reasserting
itself to the north will help strengthen the trade wind regime to
moderate levels into next weekend, focusing the better
precipitation chances over the windward areas during the early
morning to overnight hours.
