The latest model guidance shows relatively good agreement on the
synoptic scale over the region through the next 7 days.  Going
into this weekend and next week, there is some indication that the
trade winds should increase some, supporting the more typical
trade wind pattern.  A passing shortwave south of the region this
weekend is likely to advect some deeper moisture northward for
slightly enhanced precipitation in both coverage and intensity
Saturday through Monday.  Beyond that time, the upper trough is
forecast to move west of the region with a drier airmass filtering
back in, bringing back the more typical trade wind flow and
terrain enhanced showers.
