The latest model guidance shows relatively good agreement on the
synoptic scale over the region through the next 7 days.  The main
subtropical high will remain in place north of the Islands through
mid-week, and then the high becomes centered northeast of the
state by the end of the week.  This will keep the trades generally
from the east-northeast through most of the period, with perhaps
weaker flow by Thursday and Friday.  In terms of rainfall, nothing
major appears on the weather horizon, except for the normal
terrain enhanced showers, with the deep moisture from the ITCZ
remaining well south of the state.
