There is very good agreement in the model and ensemble solutions
for a rather quiet and stable weather pattern over Hawaii through
at least the next week. Upper ridging and very dry air will
support little in the way of any sort of precipitation over Hawaii
this weekend and into early next week with a light to moderate
mean trade wind flow. Guidance continues to show a front may
approach the northern islands around the middle of next week
driven by a deep low and amplifying upper trough passing well to
the north of the state. This should bring some increased moisture
and a slight chance of showers around Wednesday-Thursday. After
this, high pressure again looks to build over and north of the
islands with another period of dry weather days ahead.
