There continues to be very good agreement in the guidance for a
stable and mostly dry weather pattern over Hawaii dominated by a
strong upper ridge parked over the islands through at least the
middle of next week. Northerly winds on Thursday should shift back
to a more east, southeast direction and pick up in speed by this
weekend which could bring back some mainly light windward showers.
A cold front may pass to the north of the islands, allowing the
ridge to break down somewhat mid to later next week, but the
heaviest precipitation with this front should stay to the north as
well.
