...Prolonged wet pattern through next week with occasional chances
for heavier rainfall...

The latest guidance depicts an upper level trough/low forming to
the northwest of the islands then slowly shifts southward and will
favor keeping much of the state wet over the next week. There will
be periods where the rainfall may be heavier thanks to sustained
southeasterly flow ushering in enhanced moisture to the region.
The middle/upper level pattern will began to shear out this
weekend trending toward a drier airmass.
