...Initial wet pattern with occasional chances for heavier
rainfall...

An upper level trough/low drifting south and westward to the
northwest of the islands while high pressure approaches from the
east. Rain will be possible for most of the islands, with the
higher amounts expected for the far western islands.  Some of the
rains may be a little heavier at times given the sustained
southeasterly flow. Although the shower potential will continue,
amounts will less by early/midweek as the influx of moisture
begins to decrease.
