A composite blend of the model guidance has good ensemble support
overall in a pattern with average to above average predictability.
An upper-level trough and surface front from the west-central
Pacific mid-latitudes passing just to the west of the state will
begin to weaken/dissipate over the next couple days. An increased
chance of showers may continue for Kauai Thursday.  Otherwise, an
expansive area of high pressure will consolidate and settle in to
the north of the state. Moderate, breezy trades will return under
this pattern with daily windward shower chances through the
weekend and into next week.
