Models and ensembles still indicate that surface based high
pressure bridged and settled to the north and northeast of the
state should favor breezy island trades that may tend to slightly
ease over time. Embedded upper impulses and eventual weakness
aloft should combine with pockets of relatively deeper moisture
embedded within the trade flow to periodically fuel a shower focus
over favored windward terrain, but the pattern seems lacking in
much deep moisture or instability. Overall, a composite blend of
generally compatible guidance still seems reasonable for the next
week.
