Models and ensmebles indicate that high pressure bridged to the
north and northeast of the state that has favored breezy island
trades may slightly ease over the next week. Embedded upper
impulses and eventual weakness/troughing aloft that may gradually
shift over the islands should combine with small pockets of
relatively deeper moisture embedded within the trade flow to
periodically fuel shower focus over favored windward terrain, but
moisture and instability do not seem extensive. Overall, a
composite blend of generally compatible guidance still seems
reasonable.
