It seemingly remains the case that a favored composite of
reasonably well clustered model and ensemble mid-larger scale
guidance indicates that ample high pressure bridged to the north
of the islands should favor moderate to breezy easterly trades
into early-mid next week. Clouds and showers that form should
favor windward and mauka areas, but should be limited within a
pattern with generally below normal moisture. Upper trough
amplification and slow approach toward the state from the east
should act to weaken that portion of the high pressure ridge and
associated trades mid-later next week in a pattern with slowly
returning moisture.
