Guidance again generally agrees that high pressure bridged to the
north of the islands should favor moderate to breezy easterly
trades into early-mid next week. Clouds and showers that form
should favor windward and mauka areas, but should be limited
within a pattern with generally below normal moisture. Upper
trough amplification and slow approach toward the state from the
east should act to weaken that portion of the high pressure ridge
and associated trades by later next week in a pattern with slowly
returning moisture and shower activity extending into next weekend.
