High pressure shifting north of the state and settling into the
eastern Pacific should maintain a fairly normal trade wind pattern
through the next week, with some variability in speeds. Showers
will tend to focus over windward/mountain areas but could extend
over other locations depending on local land/sea breeze effects.
Winds may shift more northeasterly by next weekend as a front
approaches but should stay well north of the islands.
