Strong high pressure to the north of Hawaii this week should keep
a somewhat breezy trade wind pattern in place, with some
variability in speeds. Trades may ease some next weekend as the
upper ridge weakens and builds back in to the northwest of the
state. Showers through the week will tend to focus over the
favorable windward/mountain areas but could extend over some
leeward locations depending on wind speeds and pockets of higher
moisture moving through the flow.
