Models and ensembles reasonably agree with the weather pattern
evolution for Hawaii for much of the next week in a period with
seemingly good forecast predictability. A favored composite
indicates that high pressure bridging to the north of the islands
should favor moderate easterly island trade winds through
early-midweek. Trade winds should ease later week past the weekend
as a series of cold fronts sink just to the north of the state.
Overall in this pattern, limited moisture and mostly dry
conditions are expected, albeit with some windward/mauka showers.
