Upper ridging will build and dominate through much of the upcoming
week with trade winds generally light and somewhat variable for
most of the forecast period.  The next cold front should approach
and then stall just north of the Islands this weekend with some
disruption to the trades and maybe some additional showery
activity, but a more typical trade wind pattern looks to return
next week as surface high pressure moves in north of Hawaii.  It
should be fairly dry and quiet across most of Hawaii for next week
except for the typical diurnal sea breeze showers, and the favored
upslope terrain showers across the Big Island.
