Models and ensembles reasonably agree in showing moderate to
breezy trades today with limited windward terrain based showers in
a pattern with below normal moisture. Moisture will gradually
increase this week while easterly trades continue and strengthen
as potent surface high pressure cells bridge to the north of the
state. This could lead to windward/mauka showers becoming more
widespread by mid-later week when guidance shows precipitable
water values rising to above normal levels with the state in
vicinity of a mean upper trough position whose influence wanes by
next weekend.
