Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 244 AM EST Tue Feb 06 2024 Valid 00Z Wed Feb 07 2024 - 00Z Wed Feb 14 2024 High pressure to the north of Hawaii will support a period of brisk to strong winds through about Thursday with shower chances confined to mainly windward facing slopes. The flow aloft should turn more zonal with the high pressure to the north shifting east of the state and a couple of systems passing well to the north. This should allow trade winds to trend much lighter and in a more southeasterly direction Friday to at least Monday with an overall dry weather pattern as well. The latest models and ensembles continue to show excellent agreement on this pattern with some variability in some of the smaller scale details. Santorelli
