Models and ensembles still agree that breezy easterly trades
should be maintained over the islands for much of the next week
with reinforcement of surface high pressure to the north of the
state. Near average available moisture will be available to fuel
mainly windward and mauka daily shower activity, with stronger
winds helping to carry some showers to leeward areas under a
generally favorable mean upper trough position.
