General troughing/upper low will be renewed northwest of Hawaii
through about midweek, but the models continue to show good
agremeent the heaviest associated rainfall should stay west of the
main islands. This pattern should weaken later this week as upper
ridging builds in over/north of Hawaii. Easterly trades should
hold through most of the week, with mainly a windward and sea
breeze focus for showers. Winds speeds could be locally breezy at
times. The guidance shows good agreement on this quieter weather
pattern for the next week.
