High pressure north of Hawaii will continue to support some
moderate to locally gusty winds Monday, with speeds generally
decreasing thereafter as the high pushes westward and upper
troughing builds to the north/northeast of the state. Overall
stable conditions will focus showers mainly along
windward/mountain areas, but below-climatology precipitable water
values for much of the week should keep rainfall totals on the
light side. Trades may increase again later next week as an upper
ridge builds east/over the islands.
