Trade winds should remain on the weaker side through the weekend
as high pressure north of the state pushes west and an upper
trough builds to the north/northeast of Hawaii. Overall stable
conditions will focus showers mainly along windward/mountain
areas, but below-climatology precipitable water values for much of
the week should keep rainfall totals light. Trades may increase
again early next week as an upper ridge builds east/over the
islands.
