Trade winds should remain on the weaker side through the end of
this week with high pressure well to the northwest of Hawaii and
an upper trough building to the north/northeast. Overall stable
conditions will focus showers mainly along windward/mountain areas
for the next week. Below-climatology precipitable water values
should keep rainfall totals mostly light with periodic enhancement
possible as pockets of higher moisture move through. Moderate to
breezy trades may return by early next week as an upper ridge
builds east/over the islands.
