High pressure northeast of Hawaii will support moderate to breezy
trade winds through about Tuesday before the high begins to
retreat to the the northeast as a surface trough and cold front
settles north of the islands. This will allow for a weakening of
trade winds and some increased windward shower focus, though any
rainfall should be light in nature given below normal precipitable
water values. Upper ridging builds back by later next week and
into the weekend.
