Through late this week, moderate to breezy easterly trades will be
in place across Hawaii, with generally dry conditions but a few
showers favoring windward/mauka areas. Over the weekend into early
next week, a mid-upper low will be overhead of the state, possibly
raising the typical inversion. This and a possible weak surface
trough could allow for more showers, but likely not any widespread
heavy rain. As these features exit, there looks to be reduced
support for showers once again around Tuesday-Thursday of next
week, for a somewhat dry trade wind pattern.
