Over the weekend into early next week, a mid-upper trough/low will
shift westward over the state. This and a possible weak surface
trough could allow for increased moisture and showers, especially
over favored terrain. As these features exit, there looks to be
reduced support for showers once again through later next week
with return to a drier trade wind pattern with more spotty and
uncertain upper impulses to contend with locally. A favored
composite of reasonably well clustered guidance indicates that
high pressure bridging to the north of the islands and less
certain passage to the south of the state of a series of
disturbances through the next week out from the ITCZ may
intermitently support moderate to brezzy island trades.
