A mid-upper trough/low now overhead will shift slowly westward and
from the state. With impending exit, there looks to be reduced
support for showers through later week with return to a drier
trade wind pattern. A favored composite of reasonably well
clustered guidance indicates that high pressure bridged to the
north of the islands and passage to the south of the state of a
series of CPHC monitored tropical disturbances this week from the
ITCZ. This may support moderate to breezy island trades this week,
that may slowly ramp down heading into next week.
