Some enhanced showers are forecast to wind down Tuesday as a weak
low level trough moves west of Hawaii. Meanwhile trades will
strengthen to breezy levels and likely continue into Wednesday or
Thursday. By Thursday, a weak upper low and perhaps a surface
trough approach the state and cause another surge of above average
moisture that could enhance rainfall amounts especially in favored
windward locations for Thursday-Friday. Meanwhile trades should
decrease to more moderate levels, which should continue into the
weekend though with drier conditions overall. The strength of the
trades may vary a bit from day to day into early next week, while
generally dry conditions persist.
