Trade winds across Hawaii early this week should be light and
variable, supporting some land and sea breeze showers for
favorable locations. A couple of approaching cold fronts to the
north of the state will allow a shift towards more southerly winds
and draw more moisture northward with some increased precipitation
by mid to later this week. Upper ridging should build back in
across the islands by next weekend before a stronger cold front
looks to drop through Hawaii early next week, which could be
accompanied by some stronger to gusty winds.
