Prefer a composite of reasonably clustered and recently run to run
consistent model and ensemble guidance for much of the next week.
Trades rebound a bit this weekend as modest high pressure works to
the northeast of the state. An area of enhanced moisture
approaching from the southeast of the islands is expected to reach
the western islands into Sunday/Monday to link with a moisture
focusing front approaching from the northwest to offer potential
for some locally heavy downpours. Guidance continues to show the
front dissipating after Monday. High pressure bridging to the
north then northeast of the state may help establish moderate
trades for Tuesday into late next week, with limited rainfall
chances under an upper ridge. Guidance has trended holding the
next front offshore to the northwest of the state next weekend.
