...Wet Weather Pattern...

Models and ensembles still generally agree in showing the 
settling of an upper trough/closed low and an organized surface 
system just to the west of the state through Friday. Weakening and
veering lead flow to southeasterly to southerly winds over the 
state will bring in deepened moisture to fuel showers with heavier
local downpours. A flood watch remains in effect for the western 
islands today. The upper system should slowly eject and lose 
influence into the weekend, but as a moisture pooling trailing 
front and deep shower focus is expected to work slowly into the 
state from the west, with an associated weather focus lingering 
into next week.
