Guidance continues to show a persistent trade pattern over the 
next week or so featuring upper ridging over and north of the main
islands into midweek, possibly weakening by next Thursday as weak
troughing approaches from the east. This generally supports light
windward/mountain- focused showers but the modest decrease in 
heights aloft may lead to a subtle increase in rainfall later next
week. Winds should remain moderate to brisk, with some increase 
in speeds next week due to developing surface high pressure to the
northwest/north of Hawaii next week.
