This week will be characterized by moderate to locally breezy 
trades given midlatitude surface high pressure systems tracking 
well north of Hawaii, midlevel lows and eventually a broader 
trough aloft allowing for a raised inversion, and normal to above 
normal moisture levels. This will add up to a wet trade wind 
pattern with showers favoring windward and mauka areas, with minor
variations in moisture and winds from day to day. The greatest
moisture is likely around Thursday-Friday, bringing greater 
shower coverage especially to western islands. Moisture levels may
return closer to normal by the weekend.
